Client Spotlight: Glasswall Solutions Inc.

By Mark Griffin

Last year we were proud to partner with the amazing folks over at Glasswall; an innovative business that keeps business moving, protecting people’s livelihoods by eliminating unknown file threats.

It’s not every day you get to work with one of the leading firms in a sector. As one of those companies, Glasswall is on a mission to help organizations trust every file. To put it in layman’s terms (i.e. how I understand it) the CDR (Content Disarm & Reconstruction) technology Glasswall leads with, searches for the known good in files, deconstructing and then rebuilding them without any of the bad – thus eliminating any threats. I can think of a few times in the past, I wish I had benefitted from this technology and the “catching the positive” element of it really resonates with me.

Regardless, behind every amazing technology are amazing people, so when Danny Lopez, CEO, offered us the opportunity to work with Glasswall’s high performing but relatively newly formed US Sales Team, we jumped at the chance.

Fast forward and these were Danny’s kind words about the experience from our engagement:

“Purposed Fused’s programme helped our newly formed North American team enormously. Mark and Neil’s unparalleled ability to bring the very best out of people was second to none, helping embed a strong sense of purpose and a culture of high performance.”

CEO Glasswall Solutions Inc.

Thank-you Danny!

So, how did we get there?

We took the team through a program called “Three Whys” – the overview for which is outlined in the diagram below:

PurposeFused Three Whys Team Performance Program

We were incredibly impressed by the passion, energy and commitment of the team, and moreover by their complete openness in sharing personal experiences, challenges and beliefs. It is incredibly important that people show up authentically for these types of programs, as any meaningful change or improvement has to be build upon their current reality – and that can only be reflected in the truth.

Over a series of workshops, we worked with the US Team to identify what it was they loved about the company, what made it unique, impactful and successful; then, articulating what were their individual strengths, passions and impact would be in support the team (and thus company) at their best. From here, we were able to tease out the ‘secret sauce’ that defined this team at their best and the individual and shared commitments from members of the team, to optimize their performance, going forward.

With the ultimate goals of performance and impact off in their near and longer term horizon, the immediate outcomes and benefits to Glasswall were in the team-building aspects around connection, belonging and shared commitment, which research has consistently shown to be critical in not only performance but engagement, and ultimately talent retention, especially during times of remote & virtual work.

SVP and Head of US Sales, Sam Hutton commented:

“We engaged Mark and Neil at PurposeFused to help support the integration of a new sales team into the culture of Glasswall and to maximize performance of team members during difficult remote COVID working conditions.

The team found them both to have an open and transparent approach that fostered honest and meaningful discussions within our group – this unique approach removed barriers and allowed us all to gel quickly as we worked through the PurposeFused approach towards the clearly defined goal.

As a result of the program, the team is now better aligned and able to tackle the challenges of selling cutting edge technology supported with a set of strong personal and corporate goals“

So with a huge thank-you to Danny, Sam and the Team at Glasswall, we hope this spotlight resonated with you. We are excited to continue to explore further opportunities with Glasswall and will share further insights down the line.
